If you are on campus, we invite you to visit our Scholarship Resource Office. We can provide you with resources to locate scholarships, give you helpful hints on applying for scholarships, and answer your questions regarding the scholarship process.
Begin your search for scholarships early. Many award application deadlines occur during spring for the upcoming fall semester. Begin your search around November for scholarships to help fund your education for the coming school year. If you are a high school student, we recommend you start your search for scholarships in your junior year.
The Margaret Esposito Scholarship was established in August 1992, to assist McLean County residents who are nontraditional students attending one of the colleges, universities or technical/vocational schools located within the McLean County area. The scholarship can be used for educational expenses including books, fees, transportation, dependent care, tuition and room and board.
Recipients are selected by the Margaret Esposito Scholarship Executive Board of Trustees. Scholarship funds will be disbursed to the recipient through the Financial Aid Office of the college, university or technical/vocational school of attendance. The application deadline for Fall 2008 consideration is June 15th.
You are required to notify the Scholarship Resource Office of your awards. Please send your check or have your scholarship donor send your scholarship check to the Scholarship Resource Office address listed to the right.
