Cost of Attendance

Since fall 2004, Illinois State University has frozen the Undergraduate Tuition and General Fees rate for each group of new incoming students.

Current Students

Students must reapply for financial aid each school year by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You are strongly encouraged to complete the FAFSA regardless of whether or not you received aid last year.

For full consideration, the FAFSA should be submitted to the processor by Illinois State's preferential filing date of March 1. You can apply online by using FAFSA on the Web.

Satisfactory Academic Progress

If you are in violation of the University's Satisfactory Academic Progress policy, you will need to complete a Satisfactory Academic Progress Appeal Form.
